A modern shopping and entertainment centre should include a developed inclusive infrastructure.
The cooperation between the Spartak Centre and UNBROKEN Ukraine is aimed at supporting veterans in their daily lives after being wounded. This is stated in the blog CEO of Roksolana and Spartak shopping malls Roksolana Pirtko, write Dengi.ua.
"For many defenders who have been wounded, even ordinary things like taking an escalator or going shopping can be a serious challenge. We want to make this journey as comfortable and dignified as possible. This is a way to support people who have paid a high price for Ukraine's freedom," Roksolana Pirtko wrote.

She emphasises that a modern shopping and entertainment centre is more than just a commercial space. In wartime, it should become a place of recovery, socialisation and shared memory.
"We want Spartak to be an environment where veterans feel not isolated but part of the community. This is extremely important for their psychological adaptation," she said.
The partnership involves the development of inclusive infrastructure: comfortable ramps, lifts, tactile elements, and information boards.
"Barrier-free accessibility is not an option for us, but a standard. It helps people with prostheses or other limitations to move forward with confidence again," explained Roksolana Pirtko.

The blog also notes that international experience confirms that the availability of public spaces significantly accelerates the socialisation of veterans. According to research in the US and Europe, veterans who have access to inclusive spaces re-establish social connections faster and show better adaptation results.
"For us, this contribution is no less important than donations or volunteer events. It's about the dignity of those who gave their strength and health for the country," summed up Roksolana Pirtko.
