At the TRC Spartak« occurred Malanka celebrations — an event that transformed the familiar space of the shopping and entertainment centre into a place of vibrant emotions, music and Ukrainian traditions. Bright costumes, folk motifs and genuine laughter created a festive atmosphere that seamlessly blended into the modern urban environment. About this Fakty.ua reports.
During the event, visitors of various ages stopped to watch the action, took photographs and spontaneously joined in the festive mood. For many, Malanka became an unexpected yet warm pause in their daily routine—an opportunity to stop for a moment and simply share a common emotion.
CEO of SRC «Spartak» Roksolana Pyrtko emphasises that such events matter not only as entertainment, but as a way of preserving cultural continuity. According to Roksolana Pyrtko, the centre consciously supports formats that allow Ukrainian traditions to remain part of everyday life, rather than just calendar dates.
The celebration of Malanka has become logical continuation of the winter events programme that STRC «Spartak» is implementing this season. Earlier, Christmas events took place at the centre — in particular, St Nicholas's Residence near the main Christmas tree and the preparation of a traditional nativity scene. As Roksolana Pyrtko notes, it is important that these initiatives are open and accessible to all visitors.
Roksana Pirtko also emphasises that the «Spartak» SEC will continue to develop the format of open cultural and festive events. Malanka became another example of how national traditions can organically exist within the modern space, forming an atmosphere of community and trust between the centre and the local community.
