This October, Roksolana shopping mall celebrates its 11th anniversary. It seems that it was only a short time ago that we opened our doors to our first visitors - and today Roksolana has become a place that is well known and loved in Lviv. People make appointments here, spend weekends, come with their children or friends - and this is perhaps the greatest value for us.
Over the years, we have gone through different times, but we have always remained close to people. And it is thanks to this trust and support that we are able to celebrate another birthday not only as a business, but as a part of city life. For us, it is not just a date - it is an occasion to thank everyone who develops Roksolana together with us.
This year we decided to celebrate in a special way again. For the second year in a row, on the mall's birthday, we are refusing to hold loud concerts and large-scale shows, and instead we are donating part of the funds to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. For us, it is an internal conviction that a holiday makes sense only when it benefits others.
Together with the 1991 Foundation, we delivered a Volkswagen Transporter bus worth UAH 452,995 to the 54th separate battalion. This vehicle will help the soldiers on the front line in their daily work, transporting people and necessary equipment. We are pleased to be able to contribute to a common cause - to support those who protect our ability to live, work, meet our loved ones and plan for the future.
For us, such initiatives are not a one-off event, but a continuation of the philosophy that Roksolana has been building for several years. Being the centre of the city's life means not only taking care of the comfort and atmosphere for visitors, but also remaining part of a community that supports each other even in the most difficult times.
Despite the fact that this year we focused on charity, it is important for us that Roksolana's birthday remains a holiday for visitors as well. Traditionally, we have prepared a festive week for our guests, with popcorn, gift draws, photo zones and live music. This is our gratitude to those who have been choosing Roksolana for shopping, meetings and recreation for many years.
We can see how people's mood changes on such days: the centre is full of lightness, smiles, and a sense of celebration. Some people come with their children, some meet friends after work, some just stop for coffee. All these little moments create a special atmosphere, which is what we are working for. After all, a real holiday is not about a stage and fireworks, but about a lively feeling of joy shared by people.
We are grateful to everyone who has been by our side over these eleven years - our partners, tenants, team and, above all, visitors. It is thanks to you that Roksolana remains a living space - a place where everyday activities and sincere emotions intersect. We will continue to develop, staying true to a simple idea: any holiday is meaningful when it brings people together and does good.
