On 18 February 2026, the Lviv National Opera turned into a centre of gravity for young talents from all across the country. The large-scale project “Classical Ballet Residency” was successfully held here, with the SPARTAK sports, shopping and entertainment centre acting as its official partner. About this reports the publication Informant.
Participation in such initiatives is a conscious step for socially responsible business. CEO of STRC SPARTAK Roksolana Pyrtko shared thoughts regarding cooperation and the importance of supporting children's creativity:
Investing in children means investing in our shared future. The “Classical Ballet Residence” project is doing an incredible thing by opening the doors of the grand opera stage to young talents and providing them with professional mentorship. For the SPARTAK team, it is a great honour to be involved in making these children's dreams come true. We strive to ensure that our brand is associated not only with comfortable recreation, but also with development, culture and systemic support for the new generation of Ukrainian artists.
More than just a competition
“The Classical Ballet Residence fundamentally changes the approach to children's choreography competitions in Ukraine. The project's founder – professional ballerina and ballet heritage researcher Viktoriia Zvarych – has created a unique ecosystem for the professional growth of young people.
The main focus of the event was the combination of stage practice with a strong educational base. In addition to performing on a professional stage, participants attended special masterclasses, educational sessions and received advice from leading industry experts. This makes it possible to introduce modern, evidence-based approaches to the training of future ballet stars.
Inspiring support
Partnership with the “Residence” covered several areas: from informational support for the event on the digital platforms of the SPARTAK SEC to direct participation in the celebration. The culmination of the event was a solemn award ceremony where young dancers, in addition to recognition and awards, received special gifts from the SPARTAK brand.
This collaboration vividly proves: when business supports cultural and educational initiatives, and a safe and supportive environment for the development of talented Ukrainian youth is being created.
