The head of the Spartak sports, shopping and entertainment centre (SSEC), Roksolana Pyrtko, together with the centre's team, have made another delivery of aid to the Ukrainian military. This time, support went to the 710th Engineering Support Brigade battalion, which is carrying out combat missions in one of the most difficult sectors of the frontline – the Vovchansk-Kupiansk section.
Warmth for the engineering troops
The main aim of the initiative was to improve the living conditions of the defenders during the winter period. The unit received two powerful heaters, which will be used directly at the locations where they are based and carry out engineering and support work. Given the weather conditions and the intensity of the engineering troops' work, the provision of heat is critically important for preserving the health and effectiveness of the personnel.
“We continue to support the military within our capabilities. These are basic things, but they are important for daily service. We try to provide practical help that can be useful directly on the ground,” she emphasised Roksolana Pyrtko.

System support and social responsibility
Spartak shopping, entertainment and sports centre emphasises that assistance to the Defence Forces is not a one-off action. The centre's team regularly contributes to volunteer fundraising campaigns and independently initiates the transfer of necessary equipment. Social and charitable projects remain an integral part of the complex's development strategy.
Preserving traditions as part of the struggle
In addition to material and technical assistance to the frontline, an important vector of activity for the Spartak STRC under the leadership of Roksoliana Pirtko support for Ukrainian culture continues on the home front. The centre's team is working to ensure that Ukrainian traditions remain part of modern urban life.
A vivid example of this was the winter events programme. In particular, in January 2026, the complex's space transformed into a hub of folk rituals during the celebration of Malanka, where visitors could see authentic costumes and hear folk music. Also, as part of the Christmas initiatives, St Nicholas's Residence operated and preparations for the traditional nativity scene were underway.
According to the CEO of TRC Spartak, this comprehensive approach — from trench heaters to carols in the city — makes it possible to hold the line at all levels: both military and cultural.
